Payment and deposit policy
After the confirmation of your booking, you will receive an invoice with the details from your booking. To confirm your travel arrangement and guarantee your booking, we require a deposit via wire transfer to our bankaccount of 30% of the invoice amount within 10 days. The remainder amount (70% of the invoice amount) to be paid via wire transfer to our bankaccount at least 8 weeks before the date of arrival.
If a booking is made within 8 weeks of the date of arrival, we require the full invoice amount to be paid via wire transfer to our bankaccount within 5 days of the booking date.
Child Policy
a. Children 0-3 years, free of charge when sharing with adults.
b. Children 4-12 years old pay 100% of an adult rate when sharing with one adult.
c. Children 4-12 years pay 50% of the amount when sharing with two adults.
d. Children 4-12 years on their safari pay 100%, and the third child pays 25%, when sharing with two adults.
Cancellation Policy
50% of the total charges will be applicable for cancellations between 60 and 15 days before the date of arrival.
100% of the total charges will be applicable for cancellations 14 days before the date of arrival.

Payment options
We accept payments via wire transfer or creditcard.
Prices:
All prices on this website are indicative and per person, based on two participants unless stated otherwise, and shown in euros or dollars. Fuel surcharges, visa fees, insurance, optional excursions which are not mentioned in the booking confirmation, and personal expenses are never included in the travel price unless specifically mentioned. Surcharges for Christmas or New Year are not standard part of our prices. All prices are subject to change and to obvious errors for which Tanzania Lodge and Safaris Ltd cannot be held responsible for.
Our quotations are valid for a maximum of two weeks.
If, after your booking is confirmed, the government decides to apply increases in park fees, concession fees, or others, Tanzania Lodge and Safaris Ltd. has the right to charge you, up to 20 days before the start day of your trip, the extra costs, as well as increase in fuel price, airline surcharges or increase in exchange rates. If the extra costs exceeds 10% of the total booking price, you have the right to cancel your trip and receive back 100% of all amounts already paid.
Insurance
Your are required to have valid travel and cancellation insurance. Arranging this insurance is to your responsibility. Before starting the trip, make sure that the insurance covers the entire duration of the journey, including, but not limited to, personal injury, loss or damage of personal belongings such as cameras and electronic devices, medical treatment, repatriation, and lost luggage. Should a client become ill, all related hospital bills, medical costs, doctor’s fees, and repatriation expenses must be paid by the client. Tanzania Lodge and Safaris Ltd. will not refund any portion of the tour price in such circumstances.
All baggage and personal belongings are carried and stored at your own risk at all times. Tanzania Lodge and Safaris Ltd. accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to luggage or personal items.
Other terms and conditions:
Certain circumstances may affect your journey, including schedule changes, overbooked accommodations, impassable roads, adverse weather conditions, adjustments in national park fees, or equipment malfunctions. When required, we reserve the right to modify the itinerary, daily program, accommodations, transportation, or planned excursions. In such situations, you can be assured that we will make every reasonable effort to maintain the essence of the trip you originally booked.
Any additional travel or accommodation expenses resulting from force majeure may be for the responsibility of the client.
We cannot accept responsibility for services that are not part of the booked trip.
Responsibility
The booked trip and all including activities are at your own responsibility and at your own risk. Tanzania Lodge and Safaris Ltd. and its team or partners are not liable for any property and/or personal injury and illness as well as consequential damages, unless there is gross negligence and/or gross neglect on behalf of Tanzania Lodge and Safaris Ltd.
It is at your own responsibility for securing all necessary passports, visas, travel permits, and required vaccinations for the trip, well ahead of departure, and ensuring they meet the entry rules of the itinerary. Tanzania Lodge and Safaris Ltd. cannot be held liable if you fail to carry the correct travel documents. In case of loss of documents, especially a passport, Tanzania Lodge and Safaris will do their utmost to help you with the report of loss at Tanzania tourism police.
