Detailed Itinerary

Day by day through Tanzania's finest

Day 1 - Arrival day

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be greeted with a warm welcome by our driver and transferred to your accommodation. If you arrive in the morning or afternoon, you’ll head straight to your accommodation near Tarangire National Park. If your flight arrives in the evening, you will stay overnight in Arusha and begin your safari adventure the following day.

Day 2 - Tarangire National Park

In the morning, your guide will collect you from your accommodation and begin the drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy the scenic journey as you get acquainted with your Tanzania Lodge and Safaris guide.
Once inside the park, spend 4–5 hours exploring its varied landscapes, famous for large elephant herds and iconic, towering baobab trees. You will also have good chances of spotting giraffes, antelopes, lions, cheetahs, and many other species. After the game drive, you will head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Ngorongoro Crater

Begin your early‑morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a 2–3‑million‑year‑old natural wonder. This vast caldera is home to more than 25,000 animals, giving you excellent chances to see the Big Five along with lions, black rhinos, elephants, jackals, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and diverse birdlife, including flamingos.
With its 610‑meter depth and 260‑square‑kilometer floor, the crater offers abundant wildlife‑viewing opportunities. After a full day of exploration, head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast you depart to Lake Manyara National Park. Look out for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, zebra’s, elephants, giraffes, large groups of baboons, pelicans, flamingos, and other bird species. You will also visit the park’s natural hot springs.
After the game drive, and if time left you can visit a Maasai Boma (traditional Maasai village) outside the park. Learn about the Maasai culture, traditions, and daily life. At the end of the day you will be driven back to the airport or to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 - Flight home

If your flight leaves later, you can enjoy a calm final morning at the hotel. Relax in the garden, have a last coffee or tea, take a swim, or simply unwind and look back on your trip. When it’s time to go, your driver will bring you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your journey home.
