Highlights
Detailed Itinerary
Day by day through Tanzania's finest
Day 1 - Arrival day
Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be greeted with a warm welcome by our driver and transferred to your accommodation. If you arrive in the morning or afternoon, you will head straight to your accommodation near Ngorongoro. If your flight arrives in the evening, you will stay overnight in Arusha and begin your safari adventure the following day.
Day 2 - Central Serengeti
Your day begins early with a pick‑up from your accommodation. From there, you’ll travel through beautiful landscapes on a six‑hour drive to Serengeti National Park. Known as the “endless plains,” the Serengeti is home to the Big Five—elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard—and countless other species. As you enter the Seronera region in Central Serengeti, you’ll be greeted by abundant wildlife and the striking granite outcrops known as kopjes. Enjoy a picnic lunch during your full‑day game drive before heading to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 - Central Serengeti to North Serengeti
Start your day with either a relaxed breakfast and a 9:00 AM departure or an early 6:00 AM game drive before breakfast. As you head toward North Serengeti, the scenery will shift from the flat plains to more hilly terrain. Along the way, keep an eye out for zebras, gazelles, lions, and leopards. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed en route, and based on your arrival time, you may have the chance to spend time near the Mara River, where the great migration crossings often take place (June to October). End the day with dinner and a restful night.
Day 4 - North Serengeti to Central Serengeti
The day begins with another game drive in North Serengeti, where you can either depart early for a 6:00 AM drive or have breakfast first and leave at 9:00 AM. After exploring, you’ll make your way back to Central Serengeti. The four-hour drive takes you through diverse landscapes, with plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife. As you return to the Seronera area, the habitat transitions back into open grasslands. Watch for lion and other predators in this abundant area.
Day 5 - Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in Central Serengeti, then begin your journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This scenic drive offers more chances to spot wildlife before you reach Ngorongoro Crater. Known as the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, Ngorongoro is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including about 30,000 animals. Settle into your accommodation near Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater
Your final safari day starts early with a early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. The 260 sq km crater floor is a natural wonder offering excellent chances to spot the Big Five along with lions, black rhinos, elephants, jackals, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and a variety of birdlife, including flamingos. Enjoy a five-hour game drive through this stunning landscape, with a picnic lunch by the Hippo Pool. Afterward, you’ll ascend the crater walls and begin the four-hour drive back to Arusha, arriving at the end of the day at your hotel or at the airport.
Day 7 - Flight home
Your last day has come. If your return flight is later in the day, you can enjoy a relaxed morning at the hotel. Spend some time in the garden, or simply take a moment to look back on everything you’ve experienced. When departure time approaches, your driver will be there to bring you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your journey home.
