10 Days Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar

Day 1 - Arrival day

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be greeted with a warm welcome by our driver and transferred to your accommodation. If you arrive in the morning or afternoon, you will head straight to your accommodation near Tarangire National park. If your flight arrives in the evening, you will stay overnight in Arusha and begin your safari adventure the following day.

Day 2 - Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning, you will be picked up by our guide and driven to the Tarangire National Park. You will enjoy a full day game drive with lunch in this beautiful park. It is famous for its baobab trees and large elephant herds, this park is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and many more. After a day of exploring, you’ll return to your lodge for overnight stay.

Day 3 & 4 - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we journey to the iconic Serengeti National Park, famous for its endless plains and abundant wildlife. We’ll spend 2 days on game drives, searching for the “Big 5” – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino – as well as towering giraffes graze elegantly by the acacia trees, while herds of zebras and wildebeest move together in harmony, and where a pride of lions lounge in the grass. Or see a family of elephants crossing your path. You may also have the chance to spend time near the Mara River, where the great migration crossings often take place (June to October). You’ll spend the night in a tented camp. At the end of day 4 we drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for overnight.

Day 5 - Ngorongoro Crater

Early in the morning, you’ll descent in the Ngorongoro Crater, a 2–3‑million‑year‑old UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. This spectacular caldera is home to more than 25,000 animals, offering chances to see the Big Five, along with lions, black rhinos, elephants, jackals, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and flamingos. After a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, you’ll continue your game drive before heading to your lodge.

Day 6 - Lake Manyara National Park and visit Maasai

After breakfast you depart to Lake Manyara National Park. Look out for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, zebra’s, elephants, giraffes, large groups of baboons, pelicans, flamingos, and other bird species. After the game drive, you will visit a Maasai Boma (traditional Maasai village) outside the park. Learn about the Maasai culture, traditions, and their daily life. At the end of the day you will be driven back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 to 9 - Zanzibar

In the morning our guide will transfer you to Arusha Airport for depart to the tropical island Zanzibar. Upon arrival you will be picked up by our driver who will bring you to your hotel. Enjoy your first afternoon relaxing by the pool or taking a walk along the soft, palm-fringed beach.
The next days enjoy the island at your own pace, with the possibility to add a variety of activities such as cultural visits, spice tours, or ocean experiences like snorkling and watching dolphins. If desired, we can arrange all activities in advance to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Day 10 - Your flight home

Depending on your flight schedule, you can spend your remaining time relaxing on the beach or exploring a bit more of Zanzibar. When it’s time to depart, your driver will collect you from your hotel and take you to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight home.
