Experience a 12 days private safari through Tanzania’s most iconic landscapes. Explore Lake Manyara with its scenic views, flamingos and tree‑climbing lions. Discover Tarangire, famous for its massive elephant herds and rich wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs and giraffes. Continue to the legendary Serengeti, where endless plains are filled with predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, along with large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. You can even join a Serengeti balloon flight. Descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, home to the Big Five in a unique natural wonder. End your journey on the paradise island of Zanzibar, relaxing on white‑sand beaches or joining various excursions to explore its culture and underwater world.
Detailed Itinerary
Day by day through Tanzania's finest
Day 1 - Arrival day
Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be greeted with a warm welcome by our driver and transferred to your accommodation. If you arrive in the morning or afternoon, you will head straight to your accommodation near Lake Manyara National Park. If your flight arrives in the evening, you will stay overnight in Arusha and begin your safari adventure the following day.
Day 2 - Lake Manyara National Park and visit Maasai
After breakfast, you’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree‑climbing lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, large baboon troops, and abundant birdlife, including pelicans and flamingos. Following your game drive, you’ll visit a Maasai Boma outside the park to learn about Maasai traditions, culture, and daily life. At the end of the day, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 - Tarangire National Park
Early in the morning, you will be picked up by our guide for the journey to the Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full day game drive with lunch in this beautiful park. It is famous for its baobab trees and large elephant herds, and also home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and many more. After a day of exploring, you’ll return to your lodge for overnight stay.
Day 4 & 5 - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you’ll travel to Serengeti National Park, famous for its vast plains and exceptional wildlife. Over two days of game drives, you’ll search for the Big Five and encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest herds, and resting lion prides, with the possibility of elephants crossing your path.
If timing and season allow, you may also visit the Mara River, where Great Migration crossings may occur from June to October. Or choose for a Serengeti balloon flight. Your night will be spent in a tented camp, surrounded by the sounds of the Serengeti. At the end of day 5 you will head to your accommodation near Ngorongoro.
Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater
Early in the morning, we descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a 5-6-hour game drive.
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the new 7 Natural Wonders of Africa. You may be lucky to see the Big 5 here. See animals like lions, black rhinos, elephants, jackals, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. You’ll also see various species of birds, including flamingos. After a picnic lunch by the Hippo Pool, we’ll ascend and begin the 3 – 4-hour drive back to your accommodation.
Day 7 -11 Zanzibar
In the morning our guide will transfer you to Arusha Airport for depart to the tropical island Zanzibar. Upon arrival you will be picked up by our driver who will bring you to your hotel. Explore Zanzibar, known as the "Spice Islands" for cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Where pearly white beaches, swaying palm trees, and a warm Indian Ocean welcomy you! Enjoy peace, relaxation and the opportunity to do excursions like Stone Town, Prison Island or Spice Farm tour and activities such as snorkeling and diving in the clear waters to explore the underwater wonders.
Day 12 - Your flight home
Depending on your flight schedule, you can spend your remaining time relaxing on the beach or exploring a bit more of Zanzibar. When it’s time to depart, a driver will collect you from your hotel and take you to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight home.
